As a
Whiteboard shopper, there are 4 primary features that you should consider:
- Paper Source: This is probably the most important decision for
shoppers. The options available are thermal paper or plain paper. Thermal paper is smooth and thin and comes in rolls while plain paper refers to regular 8 1/2" x 11" paper you normally use for copiers and printers. Overall, plain paper has better quality and durability but customers sometimes prefer the thermal paper whiteboards.
- Writing Area: This is referring to the
writing space on the board. You will have to choose a writing area size that will
be appropriate for the size of the room and the kind of presentations it will be used for.
- Number of Panels: This is the number of
panels that can be used simultaneously in a presentation. For example, you write on
the first panel and if you want to clear it, you press the rotate
button and a clear new panel will rotate saving the old written panel in the back.
This allows you to go on with the presentation without erasing.
- PC Ready?: This is referring to the option of having the ability to transfer the image from the whiteboard to a connected computer. This allows you to edit, email, or save the presentation/image from the whiteboard to a PC. Some of the whiteboards already include the PC Interface Kit.
